Project POMA – Update July 2018 – Airdrops, e-learning

Project POMA – Update July 2018

The summer holiday is still in full swing for many and although some team members are currently baking in the sun somewhere, development has continued. That’s why we want to give a short update for our loyal POMA community.

Airdrops

The gateway phase 1 development is complete. This means that everyone who took part in the first airdrop and received the welcome email will receive an additional email with their login details within a few days for access to the gateway and their POMACOIN.

Important note: Development on the POMA blockchain platform is already at an advanced stage. There is not (yet) a hard date for the official launch; however, the gateway will be temporarily closed during the migration to mainnet. This will be clearly communicated in due course via the official communication channels.

Next airdrops

Many more people signed up for participation in Project POMA during July.  There is great news for this group because they will be considered for participation in ‘Airdrop 2’. Information and details will be sent by email to the address used for registration. Those community members already with a welcome email from early July will receive ‘Airdrop 2’ and should not re-join.

New partnerships

There are some (very) big surprises regarding partners who are going to develop projects on the POMA blockchain. POMA is working behind the scenes on multiple (larger) partnerships with major renowned parties. A series of press releases will be published as details are finalized and they can be made public.

POMA Academy & Participation program

Project POMA is proud to announce the start of beta testing for POMA Academy, an innovative e-learning platform that forms a digital bridge between students and industries to foster job creation, growth, and development. Beta testing for students is currently by invite only.

In order to start beta testing, Project POMA will select at least five interested companies that can benefit from premium business tools at the disposal of POMA Academy students.

During the beta testing stage, participating companies will learn how to use our premium business tools to gain a competitive advantage. All companies will be vetted prior to being accepted into our beta testing program.

Interested companies should contact our Director of E-Learning and programs, Mr. C. Madison at [email protected].

The platform offers opportunities for intensive cooperation with local companies, schools, and government authorities and benefits agencies by enabling fast communication, significantly reduced costs, and quickly measured results.

Interested individuals can request information via [email protected]. Student registration prior to the official launch of the platform is possible via https://poma.academy/enroll/.

New team members

We are pleased to welcome several new developers to our team. Today Cristiano Rodrigues (blockchain developer) has been added to the team page. Cristiano is an experienced developer and has more than 10 years of experience as a full stack developer. The other new developers will soon be added as well.

Blockchain updates

POMA Blockchain development has accelerated in various areas and the finish line is in sight. The developers are working on the final phase of the blockchain and mainnet will be launched once testing is complete.  The wallets, explorer, and network monitor will be launched simultaneously.

We look forward to the moment when we can present the POMA blockchain to the world.

Thanks for the support!
